YLDP Student Nominations

 1. Each high school will identify and assign a staff member as their YLDP Representative.   

 2.   Each high school’s YLDP Representative will preview the blank student application to understand the student application process.   https://yldp.us/student-application 

3.   Each high school may nominate as many as four seniors and two juniors based on each student’s character.
Note: High Schools may seek permission to increase the number of students nominated. 

4.  Nominated students are informed by their YLDP Representative and provided a private application link to apply online: at   https://yldp.us/student-application 

5.  YLDP Representatives follow up with the students to verify that the applications have been submitted. 

6.   YLDP follows up via email with each high school’s YLDP Representative to validate each of their nominated students.

 Note: YLDP Representatives will follow up throughout the school year with their nominated students’ participation and success in YLDP.
